I LOVE Sense and Sensibility. This has Kate Winslet at her best. And Alan Rickman! And Hugh Laurie! What could be better? Oh how about adding Emma Thompson and Hugh Grant to the mix? All wonderful actors in a wonderful love story. I love this movie even more than I love Pride and Prejudice and that is saying a lot!

Although there are many versions of this story, this one had excellent actors in it and was overall an incredible movie. One of my favorites!

I loved period movies. Jane Austin writes amazing novels and another movie based on her novels that is amazing story. It's about finding who you are and what your believe in as well as love. I love romantic movies!!

There are so many productions of Jane Austen's novels, I haven't been able to watch them all yet, but this version of Sense and Sensibility would be hard to beat! The acting is wonderful - a great cast - and it doesn't drag out needlessly long as some historical type dramas can. It's one of my go to DVDs when I have the chance to watch a movie by myself.
