Marvel and Disney were not sure how well the new and exciting film would do opening weekend. But The Avengers seemed to surpass and exceed the expectations they had. The Avengers made a record 200.3 million in one weekend! Wow, that is just crazy! I found this article very interesting. It will be fun to see how the rest of the movies do this summer!
