Campy Fun with a Good Family Message, 4.12.2013

There are some things about Swiss Family Robinson that are horribly outdated. My husband and kids laughed to watch the styrofoam rocks and logs (the logs were bending as they were going over people). The movie, though, still holds up to the test of time when you talk about the good message of a family loving each other and working together. They grow to love the area they're in, even with its hardships. They work together to keep themselves safe, and they make the best of their situation. It really is a very sweet movie.
